A development plot is a plot whose value as building land is higher than that of its current buildings. For a plot, one therefore distinguishes between the existing value and the development value. The latter is almost impossible for laypeople to determine, as it requires expertise in building law, market trends, urban planning, architecture and project development.

Yes, but not alone. For each purchase, Eichberg forms an alliance of selected partners based on the individual situation of the plot – the optimal combination of investors, architects, construction companies and project developers. It is precisely because this tailored alliance buys your plot that the maximum sale price can be achieved.
No, Eichberg is a project developer. As a rule, we form partnerships to develop the plot. In some (few) cases, however, the best route may be for Eichberg to broker the plot as an agent – always by mutual agreement.
Depending on the desired terms, a sale takes between eight weeks and six months – from the first meeting to notarisation. As a rule: the more realistically the asking price matches the market value, the faster a buyer can be found. We offer such a valuation in a free initial consultation.
The full amount is transferred immediately before the handover of keys (which takes place on the date of your choice).
The handover date is agreed jointly before notarisation and set out in the purchase contract; it can take place no earlier than 4–6 weeks after notarisation. You can, however, take considerably more time to move out. We are happy to show you the options for your individual case in a free initial consultation.
Of course we support you in finding a new home. Many clients secure a new-build apartment on their former plot – and so stay “at home”. If necessary, we also arrange suitable interim accommodation for you. Just ask us!
